George L. Frisbie started a company in 1949, shortly after World War II. His tools and equipment consisted of a wheelbarrow and a set of carpenter’s hand tools. In 1954, Frisbie Construction Company built its first concrete-slip form elevator in Gypsum, Kansas (which is fully functional and operating today). Since then, we have worked exclusively in all facets of the grain trade, continuing to grow and develop in knowledge, skills, and expertise managing any size of job.
Today, our family owned business is led by Jason D. Frisbie, George's grandson, and the company continues to remain recognized as a well known leader in the industry throughout the Midwest.
Frisbie Construction Co., Inc. is a family owned company dedicated to providing quality services through quality workmanship. A large part of our success is credited to the longevity of our employees. Throughout the years, we have developed many of our laborers into superintendents, sales engineers, and other essential positions in our company.
